Welcome to the podcast of Charles University Medical Faculty in Hradec Kralove. In this episode, you will get to hear the story of our student, ambassador, and soon-to-be doctor, Dilara Barut.

We have spent the first half talking about the challenges of studying medicine outside your home country and in English on top of it, but also the benefits it can have for you and your future. In the second half, we dived right into choosing a specialization and the wide variety of options you have once you graduate from the General Medicine study program. What kind of patients can you imagine yourself working with? Dermatology, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Oncology and many more…Should you even worry about that now? And how can you figure out whether medicine is a good choice for you?
