Beneath the Deep House with Cezary Poniatowski

Tovární hlášení

Smíchovská továrna se hlásí z éteru.

The guest of the recent episode of Tovární hlášení is none other than Warsaw-based artist Cezary Poniatowski whose solo exhibition Deep House opens on May 5 at MeetFactory Gallery. In the interview, curator Ján Gajdušek and Poniatowski trace the artist's path from printmaking through painting to the tactile, skin-crawling reliefs and spatial installations he is known for today. The discussion burrows beneath and beyond the surface of the familiar, much like Poniatowski's own practice, moving through layers of post-socialist upholstery foam, swarm intelligence, and invisible microcosmic protagonists who quietly take over the House/Gallery the moment we are gone.
