Why Being Salesy Hurts Your Chance of Profiting

The GaryVee Audio Experience

Welcome to The GaryVee Audio Experience, hosted by entrepreneur, CEO, investor, content creator, and public speaker Gary Vaynerchuk. On this podcast, you'll find a mix of the Podcast With Friends episodes, WineText TV recaps, Keynote Speeches on marketing and business, interviews, and fireside chats I've given. Enjoy!

Today’s episode is a GaryVee TV Classic. Whether you are trying to make money through monetizing your youtube channel, your Instagram page, your TikTok account or any other social platform, the key to selling anything on social media is to not try and sell. You need to provide value build trust with the online audience before you can really sell them something. If you throw too many "right hooks" the audience will learn how to duck. Focus on the brand and building a community that trusts you first, then you can go for the sale. Enjoy! Let me know what you thought.
