Talks 21 — The Karel Janeček Podcast

Každých 21 dní zve Karel Janeček k upřímné a otevřené konverzaci výjimečné osobnosti z různých oblastí – vědy, filozofie, vzdělávání, zdraví, technologií, spirituality a systémových změn. Every 21 days, Karel Janeček hosts open and honest conversations with outstanding guests from science, philosophy, education, health, technology, spirituality, and systemic transformation. Talks 21 is a space for depth, authenticity, and inspiration. We seek fresh perspectives, the courage to see things differently, and ideas that help us live lives that are authentic, meaningful, and free – for ourselves and for our children.

🏙️ What determines how we feel in cities? And why do some places feel lively and natural, while others tend to tire us or separate us? In this episode of Talks 21, I invited three exceptional architects—Eva Le Peutrec, Marc Maio, and Karel Smejkal—to discuss the future of cities and the space we share in them.  We talked about cities that were designed for cars, not people. We discussed the role of light, proportions, and acoustics. We explored sacred geometry and the principles that can create harmony in space and within ourselves. We also touched on why ceiling height affects our thinking, what determines the quality of public space, and how nature can be a natural part of cities even in the 21st century. Please take a moment to pause and let yourself be inspired by a conversation that combines experience, intuition, and hope that our cities can be places of joy, encounter, and harmony. O roli světla, proporcí a akustiky.
