Inspiration Forum Lab: Trajectories of Stone, Sand, and Steel

The group exhibition Inspiration Forum Lab 2025/26: Trajectories presents the year-long work of nine artists and researchers from across Europe. Through stone, sand, and steel, the three resulting projects bring to the fore the trajectories of materials, landscapes, memories, and stories, as well as their shifting relationships between the human and more-than-human worlds.

I like it when u sand transforms sand into a process of movement, change, and connection. ( ) in stone follows the traces of sacrificial stones in Estonia, exploring ways of listening to them and forming relationships with the more-than-human world. Kladno Steel Stories Telling traces, through the memories of Kladno residents, how steel, labour, and the legacy of Poldi are inscribed in bodies, landscapes, and collective memory.

The exhibition was developed as part of the year-long Inspiration Forum Lab artistic research programme.
