Noc vědců

Věda a technika

VŠB-TUO | Robot Soccer (ENG)

Tajemná, nedostižná a komplikovaná. I tak na vás může věda působit, ale ne když je Noc vědců. Noc, kdy vám věda a vědci ukážou svou pravou tvář. Poslechněte si vědecká témata, která jsme si pro vás nachystali.

Focused on the dynamic, yet unstable environment for collaborating agents/robots, robot soccer (robot football) is a constantly developing area of science. It joins various seemingly incompatible areas such as research into multi-agent systems, real-time camera images processing, controlling of individual robots, avoiding obstacles, route planning and mutual cooperation of robots in the playing field. Not infrequently, methods of machine learning are also applied.
Both robot and human soccer (football) aim for prevailing over opponents by scoring more goals. However, to achieve victory, the team have to cooperate, adapt and react. But this is far from easy, since the opponents aims for the same goal.
