Tumi and the Mitochondria

Welcome to the story of doctor Tumisang Maseko, a young postgraduate student and researcher, who went a long way before finding his calling in a lab at the LF HK Physiology department. NAFLD, liver cells, mitochondria, rats, and mice on a western diet (aka burgers, fries, and soda), seahorse, oroboros and the quest of mimicking a disease outside our bodies to learn more about what is the culprit and what is the consequence. How does it all work? What do we already know? What questions are currently on the table? What's next?
