Health, nutrition and our microbiome

LF HK Medicast

What can you do, to stay healthy and add a few good years to your life? Sleep well, excercise, tend to your mental health and eat well. The eating part tends to be the trickiest so lets focus on that. Why is it important to focus on variety, what is a gut shot and where can you get it in HK? Hit play and find out. At the beginning we talked a bit about a very popular elective course our students can take - Biochemical Aspects of Nutrition - and then we got to the microbial world inside us, the current research and what's ahead. And how else can we wrap such episode up if not by providing some practical advice, list of foods and places where to get them.

Have a great World Health Day!
