QO - Stepper

I’ve been working on my debut album ADVANCED on and off since 2022. My goal was to create a project that wouldn’t just be a random collection of tracks, but one with its own story and a clear evolution. It’s essentially about moving forward—not only in music, but in life—and becoming the ADVANCED version of myself. The journey of the album captures this path precisely. I start right where most of you know me best—with uncompromising neurofunk. It kicks off with a surge of dark energy and fast-paced beats in tracks like Devil You Know featuring Nuklear, Right In Front Of You featuring Kryptomedic, or Kick It with Prdk. The track The Seed with Disphonia leans into a more technical vibe, similar to Like in 1999. But that’s just where the ride begins. Step by step, I ventured into completely new territories and genres I might not have expected myself to touch years ago. I explored a more stadium-ready dancefloor sound in Thunder featuring Johanka, produced a pop & bass track Hold The Line with Computerartist, and dived into experimental cyberpunk hip-hop with Kryptomedic on Shape Shift. On the massive collaboration Existence alongside Merikan, Computerartist, and Prdk, we pushed things right to the absolute limit of hard neurofunk, techno, and hardcore. To top it all off, the album wraps up with an unexpected house finale, Mosaik. I’m thrilled by how many incredible producers and vocalists joined me on this record—alongside those already mentioned, there’s Neonlight, Trilo, Leduy, and last but not least, an iconic Ed Rush remix of the fan-favorite Push It To The Limit. For me, ADVANCED represents a huge personal and production milestone, as well as a celebration of music without boundaries or labels. Huge thanks to everyone I was able to share this process with and who became close friends along the way. In the end, that means even more than the music itself—and that’s what ADVANCED is all about to me.
