HIDDEN podcast

The dynamic duo of gallerist Filip Kartousek and curator Kamil Princ brings you a deep but unconventional insight into contemporary fine art, whether of well-renowned authors or outstanding young talents from art academies. The personal interviews combine complex esthetic and philosophical topics with relaxed humor and non-conformist reveal of the secret sides of the author’s life and thoughts.
Podcasts are held in Czech or English language.

In the latest podcast in the 25th episode of the HIDDEN podcast, I had the pleasure of hosting Czech painter Jan Vytiska. We traced his life journey, starting from his birth in Prague through Valašské Meziříčí, Ostrava and his current location back in Prague. From his love for audiobooks to his favorite, Cormac McCarthy's "The Road" we explored diverse interests. Whether he prefers the Apollonian or Dionysian principle, where he goes swimming, or perhaps how much he drank on Friday night.
