Pokud je cesta složitější, pro lepší názornost je dobré zahrnout do svých instrukcí konkrétní orientační body, jako třeba: jděte pořád rovně, až dojdete k parku: Go straight on till you reach the park. Turn right at the church. The cinema is opposite the bus station. The bank is next to the Grand Hotel. Orientační body jsou snadno zapamatovatelné a ujistí člověka, že jde správně.
