Domov a babička. Domov je tam, kde je babička. Babička je tam, kde je domov. Co když to ale úplně neplatí? Hranice domova se přelévají mezi Německem a Srbskem. Tijanu dělí od její babičky čtyřiadvacet hodin cesty, přesto jejich blízkostpřetrvává. Když se však začne zdát, že babička opouští hranice světa, Tijana sedí v univerzitní knihovně na západě Německa a píše svou bakalářskou práci. Je přes tisíc kilometrů daleko. Dokáže tuto vzdálenost překonat včas? A vyrovná ses nesouladem mezi rodinnými tradicemi a vlastním názorem?
Dokument zachycuje jiskry – jednu sílící, druhou vyhasínající.

This episode of the Erasmus Time series is, unusually, in Czech. It is primarily aimed at Czech students who are considering whether to go on a study exchange abroad. Home and grandmother. Home is where the grandmother is. The grandmother is where home is. But what if this does not entirely hold true? The boundaries of home seem to shift between Germany and Serbia. Tijana is twenty-four hours of travel away from her grandmother, yet their closeness endures. When it begins to seem that her grandmother is approaching the end of her life, Tijana is sitting in a university library in western Germany, working on her bachelor’s thesis. She is more than a thousand kilometers away. Will she manage to cross this distance in time? And will she be able to reconcile the tension between family traditions and her own views?
The documentary captures sparks – one growing stronger, the other fading.
